William Bruh” Evans, 73

William Bruh” Evans, 73 of New Haven, born March 16, 1941 in Wake County, NC to the late Joe Nathan And Della Mae Evans entered eternal rest on January 24, 2015.

After 35 years, he retired from Tri-State Tires of Wallingford. William leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his loving wife of 58 years, Eva Evans of West Haven; sons, Stanley Evans, Reginald Evans, Tony Evans (Robin), Kenneth Evans; daughters, Theresa Bellamy (Darrell), Mavis Evans (Christopher Bolden), Della Evans-Benton (Michael Benton); sisters, Betty Jean Evans and Annietea Mangum both of NC; sister-in-law, Becky (Earlie) Jones; brother-in-law, Gonnie Beck and sister-in-law, Cittie Beck of all CT. William was the proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by; sons, Willie Evans, William Peter Harris; brother, Johnnie Evans; sisters, Earline Kearns and Edna Stokes; mother-in-law, Marianda Terry; father-in-law, Johnnie Beck; brother-in-law, Benny Beck. A celebration of his life took place Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation Friday at the church from 10 – 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Services by Howard K.
