Willie Mae Hodge-Perry, 74

Willie Mae Hodge-Perry, 74, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on May 21, 2017. 

She was born in Waynesboro, Ga. to the late Anderson Rhodes and Luvenia McClendon on Oct. 13, 1942. She retired as a nurse’s aide from Stewart Rest Home in East Haven and served as mother of the church for Christ the Way Ministries, International.

Willie Mae leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Dennis Hodge, Donald Lee Hodge, and Steven Lee Hodge; daughters, Rovella (David) Weeks and Stephanie (Ralston) Sessions; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, James Lee (James Lee Hodge, Jr., Evangelist Barbara Brooks, Douglas Hodge) Hodge, Sr.; and second husband, Percy Perry.

A celebration of life will take place Friday at 10 a.m. at Springs of Life-Giving Water Church, 375 Howard Ave, New Haven, CT 06519. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
