Crash Kills Woman, 55

This seems like a real problem intersection. What steps can be taken to calm traffic there?

I thought that this intersection was suppose to be done over as part of the "West River Bridge Project" for I-95.

— But if not, then something still needs to be done about making that intersection into a safe one. Kimberly Avenue and the "Boulevard" has long been one of the most dangerous intersections in the entire city.

@cunningham — In my opinion, there's really no way to make the traffic calmer in the area simply because the Boulevard is one of the major thoroughfares in New Haven. Plus, it's close to the highway and there's pretty much always tons of vehicles. However, there are ways to make the traffic flow better through that area.

For example: Adding left or right turn lanes, building roundabouts, adding/removing traffic lights, etc...
