Margaret Olin sent in these photos of a car in flames and firefighters responding to the scene on the edge of Edgewood Park Thursday night.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m.
The driver of a red Toyota Camry with Colorado plates crashed into a tree by West Rock and Yale avenues. The car then burst into flames.

The driver fled on floor, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. He said the car has not been reported stolen.
Fifteen firefighters put out the flames. No one was injured, according to Assistant Fire Chief Orlando Marcano.
