Mayor Toni Harp has declared a festival proclamation for Friday, September 14, 2018 in support of the 4th Annual New Haven Grand Prix. In suppor of the New Haven Grand Prix, the following streets will be closed from 4:00 PM September 14, 2018 to 12:00 AM September 15, 2018: Chapel Street (from Temple Street to High Street), High Street (from Chapel Street to Elm Street) and the Partial closures of Elm Street (from High Street to Temple Street).
In addition, College Street from Crown Street to Elm Street will be closed from 12:00 PM September 14, 2018 to 1:00 AM September 15, 2018. Additional streets may be closed at various times from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on September 14, 2018 as necessary.
In accordance with Section 17 – 11.11 of the New Haven Code of Ordinances street vendors may be asked not to set up on the sidewalks adjacent to the Green during the hours of the Festival but to move across the street.
