Senator Nina Turner is a policy focused and truly caring leader who is passionate about serving her fellow women and men. Senator Turner is the gold standard by which all others seeking public office should be compared to when determining whether she or he is worthy of the public’s trust.
I believe that Hillary who cashed in on her big money connections, to the tune of a $20 Million speaking/pay-off tour, is not someone who still represents the interests of the little guys and gals who are the backbone of the Democratic Party.
When was the last time Hillary flew coach? Seriously, she required a Gulfstream 4 as a requisite for attending one of her speaking gigs?
Even though I share Sen Sanders vision of a more equitable United States, I was hesitant to support him at first because I envisioned a mainstream Republican candidate like Jeb Bush painting Sanders as a commie and scaring the average american who doesn’t know the difference between communism and social democracy. Now that the Republcians are on an internicine warfare path towards nominating either Cruz (who few people like, including Republicans) or more likely Trump (who could easily run to the right in red states and to the left of Hillary in blue states(1)) candidate Sanders is less vulnerable to mainstream thinking. And unfortunately, I think Sec Clinton will re-inspire Republican Clinton-haters to hold their nose and vote for either the unlikeable Cruz or the love-to-hate Trump.
(1) Trump’s shown that he doesn’t care about contradicting himself and his supporters seem too blind or stupid to notice.
Why does the general public find out about such events after they have taken place. Who promoted and advertised this? The Democratic Town Committee failed to contact the Democrats of New Haven who make up the majority of voters in this city!
Evidently a small crowd was expected or invited based on the location of the event.

Who drives the Democratic party? Not the black, brown and poor who are its base voters, locked in its trunk. Black voters in particular are not “strategic voters” so much as captive constituents of the privatizers, gentrifiers, jailers, banksters and military contractors who steer the Democratic party. Our only strategic decision is whether to remain captives or pull the latch and escape from the Democratic wing of the party of the rich.
You give white politicians all of your support, and get nothing in return. You put the Democrats first, and they put you last——-MALCOLM X (from his speech called, the Ballot or the Bullet)
