The eighth annual Branford Garden Club Scarecrows on the Green has entertained many youngsters and their families over the years with the wide variety of scary and humorous displays.
This year there are over 25 different displays from a variety of Branford businesses and organizations.
“This is our fall fundraiser,” said Paula Inglese, president of the Garden Club. “This is an event that brings the community together. The merchants like participating as it brings attention to their business and the helps fund the many projects we offer every year.” She thanked the scarecrow project organizers Beth Mischler, Anda Weyler, and Eunice Lasala for their work.
The scarecrows will be up through Sunday, Nov. 4.
