Dennis Hopkins, 64, of New Haven, passed away May 12, 2018.
He was born March 25, 1954, in Bethel, N.C. to Margaret Hopkins and the late Joe Louis Cox. He worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital in the warehouse for 27 years.
Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Solomon Barnes, Marquise Beverly, Dennis Beverly, Maurice Beverly, Tobias Nivens, and Michael Beverly; daughters, Taiwanna (Terry) Williams, Cherlisa (Tavaris) Beverly-Bellamy, and Rochelle Nivens; brothers, Norris Gardner, Joe L. Cox Jr., and Burnice (Pam) Mills; 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will take place May 24, 2018, at 11 a.m. at The New Trinity Temple COGIC, 285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511.
