Eugene M. Kenny, Jr., 49, of New Haven, departed this life May 14, 2013.
He was the husband of Jasmine McKinney Kenny.
Born in New Haven, CT, July 10, 1963, he was the son of Eugene M. Kenny, Sr. and Mildred Kenny.
Mr. Kenny was a former teacher with the New Haven Board of Education.
He was a member of Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by sons, Osiris M. Kenny and Isaiah I. Kenny; a daughter, Nyala L. Kenny; stepdaughter, Erinn C. McKinney; a grandson, Kaiden Kenny; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mr. Kenny’s life and legacy will be held Friday, May 24, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 425 Newhall St., Hamden. Viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
