Otha C. Buffaloe, 78, passed away Dec. 2, 2017.
He was born in Apex, N.C. to the late Alene Kelly White on June 17, 1939. Also known as Detective Buffaloe, he retired from the New Haven Police Department in 1984 after 25 years of dedicated service.
Otha leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Sandra Young; sons, Marcus (Brittany Mullings) Buffaloe, Patrick (Kim) Buffaloe, Chris (Shannon) Buffaloe, and Bryce (Abbie Johnson) Buffaloe; twelve grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Monday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, where he has been a member for several decades, at 1324 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511.
A celebration of his life will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Services by Howard K.
