William Bell Gause, 62, of New Haven passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He is the son of the late Elroy Gause and Lula Belle Dozier Gause and the brother of the late Paul Gause (Anne), Martha Ann Gause-Vereen (Heyward), Calvin Dozier Gause (Carol), and Charlee Gause. Mr Gause leaves behind his lovely wife Glorestine (Fleming) Gause, his 5 children: Terry, Randy, William Jr., Shante, and Tiffany (all from New Haven, CT), along with 13 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings: Betty Jane Gause-Scott (Larry Sr.), Elijah Gause, Alma Lucille Gause-Myers, NancyGause-Patterson (Roscoe Sr.), Sammie Lee Gause, David Elroy Gause (Dawn Teresa), James Gause, Magdalene Gause-Jolley (Tyrone), Thelma Ann Gause, and Floyd Gause, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Gause was a supervisor at Home Goods for many years. Friends and Family may call on Friday May 23, 2014 at (time and place). “Never let anyone come to you without leaving happier and better”. A celebration of his life will take place Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, 246 Dixwell Ave, New Haven with a calling hour at the church from 10 – 11:00 AM.
