Arthur T. Ottley, 86, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2013 at CT Hospice Care Center in Branford.
Arthur was born on September 23, 1926 in New Haven, CT to the late Alexander and Melvina (Sweeney) Ottley. He attended grammar school in New Haven, CT but spent most of his youth living in Nevis, B.W.I . He loved music, dancing and enjoyed singing. He was also in the U.S Navy. He leaves to cherish his memories, sister, Dorothy McCleese of New Haven and a host of cousins and friends. He was predeceased by, brother, Albert Ottley. A Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 – 11AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Hamden Plains Cemetery, Hamden, CT.
