Eleanor Cobb

111609_EleanorCobb.jpgEleanor M. Cobb, 90 of New Haven entered into eternal life on November 13, 2009. Eleanor was born May 30, 1919 to the late Clarence and Ethel Schofield Cobb.

Eleanor was a very active member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church-New Haven, CT. Her community associations included membership in the Dixwell/Newhallville Senior Club and Tower East Residents Association. Her outgoing spirit and friendly attitude towards everyone will be missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Rev. John Fredlaw of Brooklyn, NY; daughters, Rosalind Perry and June Williams of New Haven, CT; granddaughters, Andrea Hart of Ga, Kea D. Pollard of CT; grandsons, James Pollard of TX, Kendall Pollard; thirteen great grandchildren, and other grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellsworth Perry; son, James R. Pollard, II; and brothers, William and Clarence Cobb. A celebration of her life will take place Monday November 16, 2009 at 11 AM at the Bethel A.M.E Church 255 Goffe Street New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Monday from 10 – 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery New Haven. Services by Howard K.
