Elizabeth “Libby” Willerforde, 85, of New Haven, departed this life June 22, 2013.
She was the widow of Robert “Bobby” C. Willerforde.
Born in New Haven, CT, June 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lizzie Belle Wilmore.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Willerforde was employed at Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. as an Office Associate.
She is survived by a son, Bari K. Willerforde (Nancy); a brother, Ronald Wilmore (Sandra); 4 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a son, Glenn Willerforde; a brother, Clarence Wilmore; and sisters, Doris Brown and Barbara Walcott.
A celebration of Mrs. Willerforde’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 9:00 A.M. at Community Baptist Church, 143 Shelton Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 8:00 – 9:00 A.M.. Burial will be private. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
