Gloria McArthur, 78 of New Haven, CT, born August 10, 1930 to the late Roy and Pearl McKoy suddenly passed away April 16, 2009. She leaves to cherish her memory; Son, John L. McArthur, Jr. of West Haven, CT; Daughters, Bertha L. McArthur, Christine G. McArthur of New Haven, CT; Sister, Emma McRae of Fayetteville, NC; Special Niece, Rebecca Williams of Hamden, CT; 14 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, John L. McArthur, Sr.; Daughter, Gloria Ann McArthur; Son, Ronnie L. McArthur; Grandchildren, Taneka S. McArthur, Chrishell R. McArthur; Brothers, Harry Underwood, Ernest P. McLean, John McDougal; Sisters, Catherine Bittle, Dorothy McDougal. A celebration of her life will take place Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 11AM at The Howard K. Hill Funeral Services 1287 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511.
