
Harry S. Watley Jr. went home to be with God on Sunday, April 18, 2010. Harry known as “Qui-Que” was born February 24, 1958. He was the son of the late Harry S. Watley Sr. and Carrie Mae Watley. He was exposed to religions at an early age. Harry was educated in the New Haven School system. He was an all-star athlete in basketball, baseball, football, and pool. He had eclectic taste in music ranging from classical and contemporary jazz, R&B, and reggae. He was an avid reader and writer of poetry. Harry lived life boldly facing challenges one day at a time. He was very active in the recovery movement, changing people, places, and things. He returned to his spiritual roots and relocated to Torrington, CT. Harry leaves to cherish his memory; fiancée, Patricia Lafayette; mother, Carrie Mae Watley; brother, Johnathan Watley; step brother, Harry Watley; and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will take place at Bethel A.M.E., 255 Goffe Street, New Haven, CT on Friday April 23, 2010 at 11AM. Viewing hours from 9-11AM. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
