Helen Mae Brown McKoy, 92

Helen Mae Brown McKoy, 92, wife of the late Rudolph J. McKoy, of New Haven, passed away Oct. 31, 2016.

She was born in New Haven to the late Joseph M. and Miriam Esdaile Brown on Nov. 10, 1923. Helen Mae was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and worked many years as a health aide for the State of Connecticut.
 
Helen Mae leaves to cherish her memories, son, Ronald W. (Sheila) McKoy; daughters, Sondra J. Scott and Yvonne (Stanley) Green; brother, William E. (Gloria) Brown; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Winston Brown, Edmund Brown, and Irving Brown; sisters, Estelle Brown Tillman, Sarah Marjorie Brown Tyson; and grandson, Floyd L. Hare.

A celebration of life will take place Nov. 5, 2016 at 10 a.m at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Hamden Plains Cemetery, Hamden.
