Lillian “Maum” Fenner Logan, 90, of New Haven, departed this life October 30, 2009. She was the widow of John Wesley Logan, Sr.
Born in Columbia, NC, August 19, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Pete and Anna Davenport Fenner.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, John Wesley Logan, Jr. and George Logan; daughters, Jeanette Horner and Carolyn Logan; sisters, Almeta Gillespie and Veda Norman; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; eight sisters; and two grandchildren, Monique Horner and Kenneth Horner, Jr.
A celebration of Mrs. Logan’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 9:00 A.M. at Faith Temple Revival Center, 834 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 8:00 – 9:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
