Miriam Doggett-Guest, 70, of New Haven, departed this life June 19, 2009.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, July 23, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Eleanor Worsley Doggett.
She was employed at Regional Network of Programs in Stratford, CT as a Registered Nurse.
Mrs. Doggett-Guest was a member of Agape Christian Center.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Jonathan, Timothy, Mark, David and Daniel Guest; daughters, Julianne and Stephanie Guest; her former spouse, St. Julian Guest; a sister, Renee Scott; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her best friend, Mae Gibson Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen L. Guest; sisters, Renee Doggett and Effie Doggett-Brown; and a great granddaughter, Antonae M. Scott.
A celebration of Mrs. Doggett-Guest’s life and legacy will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at Agape Christian Center, 90 Goffe St., New Haven. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
