Patrick Reardon, 42

n1603291628_30174854_4719038.jpgPatrick Joseph Reardon, a New Haven Firefighter, of 100 Greenwich Avenue, entered into rest April 21, 2009.

He was the son of former Fire Capt. James K. Reardon and Patricia P. Reardon, brother of Kerry K. Reardon and her children, Gillian and Nicholas, and Marybeth (John) Miklos and their children Jack and Luke. He is also survived by his Uncles William H. Patterson of Texas and Atty. Richard D. (Sylvia) Patterson of Branford, and his aunt, Barbara P. Melotto of New Haven. Predeceased by his brother Brian Kirby Reardon and his grandparents, Patrick Joseph and Mary Kirby Reardon, and his Grandmother Georgianna W. Patterson, and by his uncle, former Fire Chief John P. Reardon, and his Aunts Mary Reardon Shields, and Eileen Reardon Regan. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Patrick played softball for Rudy’s Bar & Grill and beach volleyball for the New Haven Park and Recreation. Prior to joining the New Haven Fire Department on March 19, 1995, Patrick worked at SNET for 9 years. Patrick graduated from St. Peters Grammar School and Notre Dame High School and attended Southern Connecticut State University.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the MONAHAN,COX, SMITH & CRIMMINS FUNERAL HOME, 11 Wooster Place, New Haven. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. Friends are invited to go directly to Saint Lawrence Church, Main Street, West Haven, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am Monday. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations may be made to The Brain Injury Assoc. of Conn., 333 East River Drive # 106, East Hartford, Conn. 06108.
