Rose D. Arrington Evans, 67, of New Haven, departed this life June 25, 2010.
Born in Nashville, NC, September 17, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Rannie Arrington.
She was employed as an Inspector and Supervisor at Secondary Operations, Inc. in Hamden for almost 40 years.
Ms. Evans is survived by a sister, Willie Belle Arrington; brothers, Andrew, Raymond and George Arrington; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Robinson, Gertrude Mason and Ella Boone; and brothers, William, Saul, Paul and James Arrington.
A celebration of Ms. Evans’ life will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at 6:00 PM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Burial will be in Nashville, NC. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com
