Theodore Young, 79 of New Haven passed away April 6, 2009. He was born February 24, 1930 in Lackawanna, NY to the late Oliver and Nancy (Bradley) Young. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Shirley Young of New Haven; sons, James Young (Audra) of Chesterfield, VA, Theodore C. Young of New Haven; daughters, Shana R. Jackson (Michael) of Hamden, CT, Dionne M. Brown (Marlon) of Baltimore, MD; siblings, Oliver Young, Jr. (Pearl), Bishop Glenwood Young, Sr. (Pauline), Elder Harold Young, Sr. (Valerie), Mildred Harris, Constance Brooks, Dolores Jones (Henry), Jeannette Bowman, Gloria Porter, all of Buffalo, NY and Doris Page of Rahway, NJ; 8 Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Adolf, Frank, Eugene and Gerald Young. A celebration of his life will take place Thursday April 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bible Gospel Center 143 Leeder Hill Dr. Hamden, CT 06517. Friends may call at the church at 10:00 AM.
