Someone shot a 16-year-old girl in the buttocks while she walked with her boyfriend near Chapel and Day Streets around 10 p.m. Wednesday. The shooter, who fired several shots and apparently aimed for someone else, made off in a gold-colored sedan.
So reported police spokesman Officer David Hartman.
Hartman also reported that a 24-year-old man was found dead of an apparent heroin overdose in a Willow Street bedroom at 10:37 p.m.: “Hhe was lying on a bed next to an empty bag on heroin and a syringe. Additional heroin packets and marijuana were located elsewhere in the apartment.”
