3rd Arrest Made In 2013 Murder

Police arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a 2013 homicide.

Police previously arrested two people, including the alleged gunman, in connection with the murder. Three people set out to rob 35-year-old Nathaniel Bradley on Oct. 14, 2013, on Ella Grasso Boulevard near Goffe Street, police said; the robbery went bad, and Bradley was killed.

The first arrest, of the gunman, took place within six days of the killing.

Detectives led by Nicole Natale kept on the case, and recently obtained a warrant for the arrest of the third man. Officers Thomas Glynn and Matthew Collier went looking for the man on Sunday and found him sitting in a car outside his home on Sherman Avenue. They took him into custody without incident, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. He was charged with first-degree robbery felony murder and conspiracy to commit felony murder and first-degree robbery. Police also charged him with possession of marijuana at the time of the arrest.

The first two arrestees remain in jail as their cases proceed. The alleged gunman has pleaded not guilty and is being held on $1 million bond. The charges against the second arrestee, who was picked up last May, have been changed to accessory to robbery in the second degree, a felony, according to the state’s judicial website; she’s being held on $1 million bond.
