In 1875, Othniel Marsh of Yale was a a pioneering paleontologist in the “Bone Wars,” discovering new specimens in the West and bringing them back for a future Peabody Museum; another prof was teaching the latest dance craze at the Loomis Temple of Music and was inviting Marsh over to a “hop.” Welcome to To a Tale of Two Professors on This Day In New Haven History as your host Allan Appel and his regular time-traveling companion, Jason Bischoff Wurstle of the New Haven Museum, peer over the shoulders of the two local profs.
