Police have found a son but are still looking for his father, who’s been missing since Jan. 3.
Police Tuesday issued Silver Alerts for father and son Paul and Paulie Martone after they went missing.
On Wednesday morning, police “developed information on the whereabouts” of Paulie and picked him up. Cops brought him to the police department at about 10:30 a.m.
“The boy appears to be healthy, unharmed and in good spirits,” police spokesman Officer David Hartman said. “He’s spent some time eating a burger and fries at Detective Rose Reid’s desk. His living situation will be evaluated by the State of CT Department of Children & Families.”
The Silver Alert remains in effect for Paulie’s father, Paul Martone. He’s described as 37 years old, white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
“There is an active arrest warrant on file for Paul Martone for violating his probation,” police spokesman Officer David Hartman said. “He also suffers from mental illness.”
Anyone with information is asked to call New Haven police at (203) 946-6316.
