New Haven is asking for help for one of its “sister” cities recently devastated by mudslides.
The New Haven chapter of the Freetown-Sierra Leone Sister Cities program is planning a relief effort and is asking for contributions to help those impacted by the mudslides that have killed more than 300 people, destroyed many homes, leaving thousands homeless.
To support the humanitarian effort, donations can be sent to New Haven Sisters cities (memo: Sierra Leone) at P.O. Box 774, New Haven, CT 06503.
