They were the entertainment. And they were the cause.
“They” are Emanuel and Miguel Johnson, two Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School grads now in college and on the path to musical careers.
Some 50 people showed up at Westville’s Lyric Hall Saturday night to hear them play. Proceeds from the event, which was organized by Darryl Brackeen Jr. of Westville and Alderwoman Angela Russell, went to the brothers (who need new instruments) and to Lyric Hall, for post-flash-flooding repairs.
