Sunday In New Haven? That Must Be Dan Malloy

When is Dan Malloy coming to the Hood.

Funny that so many current and former politicians live in a part of town that is least like the rest. I wonder why they don't like us.

To my recollection, the Gov. has visited the Newhallville-Dixwell area on several occasions.

and where should the Alderman (showing my age and not PC) for this neighborhood live? If not in the neighborhood he represents.

I was born and grew up one block away from this location, why should the neighborhood not have politicians living there? In fact there should be an elected official living in each of the city's wards.

Hundreds of people were mulling about at the East Rock Festival on Saturday and the guv was a no-show. Campaign planning to match a lackluster administration.

If you're trying to suggest that the Gov. visit the area more frequently, I would agree.

He went to the Black Churches.He did not step foot in the real part of the hood.Also he had the Black Boule negroes show him around.

I remember very well. The difference was Kermit Carolina took on Dan Malloy.The other party try to protect Dan Malloy.Look at the tape.

That said, I don't see the correlation between that (the Carolina brouhaha) and your earlier point. You accused the Gov. of not being in the "Hood." Allow me to further try and bring you back to another occurrence in which the Gov. made his presence felt in the "Hood." Do you recall the Gov. recognizing the rebirth of the Dixwell QHouse with a $1,000,000 gift?

I'm certainly not a part of the Governor's reelection team, but I believe in being fair nevertheless.

I recall the bribe for the Q house that you are talking about from Dan Malloy for votes.I talk to the people in the real part of the hood.They said never seen him. As far as Mr. Carolina's frustrations then,It was not frustrations.He spoke the truth.Not like Harp who tryed to protect Dan Malloy.

It certainly would have been nice if people would have put together a booth for the Malloy campaign, but there was something off about the East Rock Festival in general this year.

Regardless, good to see this junior in college take a step back and get it. If you think Malloy's administration has been "lackluster," you might want to take another look at what's going on in the rest of the state & the rest of the country.

I was at the debates due to the fact that I drove people there.
