New Haven’s determined to keep young people busy — and constructively occupied — this summer.
The mayor’s office has compiled lists of what youth activities planned for the summer. Some highlights:
• “Camp New Haven” is free for kids 8 – 12.
• A “Summer Youth Guide” details 70 additional camps and sports, theater/film and other youth programs.
• 9 “open schools” rec hours.
• A Summer Reading Club.
• Splash pads!
