Police found a 19-year-old man shot in the chest and in cardiac arrest behind a Clinton Avenue house in Fair Haven at 1:07 a.m. Tuesday.
The man, Jonathan Aranda of Dover Street, was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:36 a.m., according to police spokesman David Hartman.
Detectives are at the early stage of investing the case. Anyone with information is asked to call 203 – 946-6304.
Aranda’s Facebook page states that he attended Eli Whitney Technical School.
