Man Murdered

Somebody shot a man to death in the Church Street South housing complex Tuesday night.
Police got the call at 8:22 p.m.
They went to the Malcolm Court area of the complex, which is across the street from the train station.
The victim was still alive when police found him but was pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital, according to Assistant Police Chief Archie Generoso.
“Somebody heard three shots,” Generoso said an hour after the shooting. “We have no witnesses out here right now.”
Police identified the victim as Joseph Mirvil, 29.
