New Haven Sailor Helps Out In Philippines

Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Paolo Bayas Photo The U.S. Navy sent in this photo of a New Havener at work in the Philippines.

The New Havener, Dominick Rosario, is an Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman in the Navy.

He’s pictured on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington, cleaning the main rotor head of an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter.

The Navy is in the Philippine Sea helping with relief efforts in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan.

Go Navy!!  The Navy has done more soft power projction in the last few years helping recover from from natural disasters than most people realize. Way to go ASMAN Rosario!!!!!
