The New Haven Symphony Orchestra is bidding farewell to some longstanding board members and welcoming some brand new ones.
Stephen August, Robert Dannies, and Sandra Senich left the board at the end of the 2012 – 2013 season. August had served for 17 years; Dannies for 28, according to a release.
Newly elected to the board was Richard Cella, a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at US Trust, with 25 years of experience.
NHSO Executive Director Elaine Carroll announced new members of the NHSO staff as well. Nikki Besitko is the new NHSO Development Director. management. She was the director of development at Dwight Hall at Yale, the university’s Center for Public Service and Social Justice.
Lindsey Christiani was recently appointed as NHSO marketing manager. She was the community development specialist at the VNA of South Central Connecticut.
