Restaurant Week
Feeds The Hungry

Kim Bartlett-Manisene, AVP Senior Public Affairs Manager, Citizens Bank; Nancy L. Carrington, President & CEO, Connecticut Food Bank; and Anne Worcester, Chief Marketing Officer, Market New Haven

Hungry people eating out during New Haven’s Restaurant Week raised $7,000 for the Connecticut Food Bank, enough for 7,000 other hungry people to have meals of the their own.

Over the course of Restaurant Week, Nov. 11 – 16, diners were encouraged to make donations while eating out at participating restaurants. With the funds collected, the Connecticut Food Bank can provide 7,000 meals to those in need, as $1 feeds 1 person for 1 day.
