Teens Can Get Smart

Teens can sign up for a summer program teaching them how to “Manage Your Future.”

Community Action Action is running the program, for 14 to 18-year-olds whose families are “TANF-TFA eligible.” That means their incomes fall at or below the amounts listed in the chart at left.

“This program provides financial-literacy, life-skills, and job-readiness training to youth. Eligible youth will also have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience,” states a release from CAA, which is based at 419 Whalley Ave. Contact Jerry Poole at 203-387-7700 ext. 148 or Jackie Lovegren (extension 245) for more info.
