Poet-activists Ifeanyi Awachie and Elizabeth Larkin joined Salwa Abdussabur for a Sass Talking Talking Takeover” of Mornings with Mubarakah.” Reading poems in the studio and over the airwaves, the three discussed the power of language, why the differences between page poet” and slam poet” are more semantic and superficial than they’re given credit for, and how poetry can be a persuasive social platform.
