Scott Klouda scored the first goal of the game.

It shaped up to be a very close game last week at the Northford Ice Pavilion with the North Branford Thunderbirds with a record of 9 – 2 going into the game facing the Branford Hornets who were 9 – 1.

And for two periods it was as close at it could be with the clubs tied at three goals each. It was Branford’s home game even though both teams play there.
