Allen H. Hudson, 86, of New Haven, passed on March 14.
Born in Franklin, N.C., March 29, 1924, he was the son of the late Arthur and Blanche Hudson. Mr. Hudson retired from Volvo City West as an automobile detailer in 1991. He was a World War II Army veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory children Brenda Hudson, Allen Hudson, Jr., Vivian Crawley (Bobby), Jeffrey Smith, Allen W. Hudson (Lisa), Vallerie Hudson-Brown (Ronnie), Vincent Hudson, Frederick Adams, Steven Adams, and Alisa Adams; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his eldest sister, Mary Wiley; and a number of loving family members and friends.
The funeral service was held March 18 at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Hudson was buried in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com.
