Arcadio Vazquez, 83 of New Haven, passed away December 29, 2011. Arcadio was born September 13, 1928 in Puerto Rico to the late Ramon and Maria (Maldonado) Vazquez.
He leaves to cherish his memory; sons, Raul and Miguel (Ana) Vazquez, both of New Haven, William, Francisco, Rafael, Rogelio, and Enrique Vazquez all of Puerto Rico; daughters, Adelina, Neredia, Natividad (Manolin Gomez) Vazquez all of Puerto Rico and Hayde (Tito Collazo) Vazquez of Florida; sister, Lydia Molina of Puerto Rico; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Maria Perez, son, Adrian Vazquez; daughter, Isabel Vazquez; 2 brothers, Luis and Armando Vazquez and 1 sister, Arcadia Vazquez. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel Street New Haven, CT with a calling hour at the funeral home from 8 – 9:00 AM. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
