Arthur Hill, Jr., 85, of New Haven, departed this life July 18, 2012.
He was the widower of Mary L. Hill.
Born in Wilmington, NC, August 29, 1926, he was the son of the late Arthur Hill, Sr. and Rossie Pickett Hill.
Prior to retiring, he was employed at Atlantic Wire.
Mr. Hill is survived by a daughter, Julia Watson; a sister, Beatrice Kellman; a brother, Joe Louis Hill; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Norfleet; and 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Hill’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Beulah Heights Church, 782 Orchard St., New Haven.
