Brenda Maxine Smith, 63, of Blue Cliff Terrace in New Haven, passed away on July, 3 2013, in Hamden, CT.
She was born April 7, 1950 in Columbia, SC to Bessye Smith of Hamden, CT and the late Henry Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories; sons, Jeffrey Pouncey, Jerome Maurice Myers of New Haven; goddaughter, Angela Pouncey of New Haven, CT; brothers, Tyrone Smith (Terry) of VA, Kenneth Smith of New Haven; sisters, Jacqueline Dantzler of New Haven, Diane Smith and Barbara Parker of GA; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life was scheduled to take place Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 9AM at Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, 246 Dixwell Ave New Haven, CT. Interment is private.
