Claude Edward Lyons was born in Skipwith, Va., on July 29, 1958. He was one of two children born to Nannie Bell Lyons and the late Marvin Alfred Lyons. He departed this life July 7 after a lengthy illness.
Claude leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Nannie Bell Lyons; sister, Margaret Lyons; niece, Yolanda Lyons-Tubman; nephew-in-law, Alfred Tubman; six aunts, four uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, July 13, at 7 p.m. at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St., with calling hours from 5 – 7 p.m. Services and interment will be in Skipwith on Saturday, July 16. To leave a message of comfort, visit www.hkhfuneralservices.com.
