Cora Lee Thomas Holland, 87 of New Haven passed away December 25, 2010. Cora was born August 10, 1923 in Lexington, TN to the late Bessie (Moore) Thomas and William Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memory; children, Carol Holland (Curtis) of New Haven, Estelle Holland Spearman (Terry) of Atlanta, GA, George Holland, III (Malbreal) of New Haven, Mark Holland (Paulette) of New Haven; sisters, Helen L.
Council and Ruth E. White; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, George Holland, Jr.; son, Charles Thomas; sister, Mary Heath; brothers, William Thomas, Jr. and Larry J. Thomas. A celebration of her life will take place, Thursday December 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul UAME Church, 1267 Chapel Street, New Haven. Friends may call Thursday at the church from 10 – 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
