Eloise Marie Goodson, 93, of New Haven, departed this life October 21, 2011.
She was the widow of Horace Goodson, Sr. Born in New Haven, CT, March 31, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Morgan.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at Sargent Manufacturing as a Machine Operator.
She is survived by daughters, Nellie Monroe and Eloise Goodson; sons, Horace Goodson, Jr., Frederick Goodson and Frank Goodson; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by sons, Charlie and Martin Goodson; sisters, Ethel Simmons and Marie Morgan; and a grandchild, Faye Monroe.
A celebration of Mrs. Goodson’s life and legacy will be held Friday, October 28, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Chapel New Testament Church, 220 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
