Isaiah Goodine, 82 of New Haven, CT passed away January 9, 2011. Born to the late Stiles and Beatrice Goodine on January 1, 1928 in Seneca, SC. Later, he came to New Haven and decided to make New Haven his home. He was employed at the Winchester Factory, Conrail, and retired from Metro North Commuter Railroad. Isaiah leaves to cherish his memory; companion of 35 years, Barbara Holloway of New Haven; sons, Stiles and Timothy White of New Haven, Anthony Eaddy, Raheim Holloway, Albert (Lisa) Eaddy, Lionel Johnson all of New Haven; God son, Wayne (Felicia) Ballard; daughters, Jonni Mae Goodine of Raleigh, NC, Mildred (Isaac) Johnson and Barbara Eaddy both of New Haven; 29 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Crawford, Willie, and Samuel Goodine. A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday January 15, 2011 at 9AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven. Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home from 8 – 9AM. Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery.
