Jericho Scott, 16

Jericho Scott of New Haven was called home on April 19, 2015.

He is survived by his parents Leroy and Nicole Scott, brothers; Brandon Scott, Alex (Al Bundy) Scott, and Christian Scott, sisters Sahara (mama) Scott, Angaleea (Bocci) Scott, and Carizma (Rizzy) Scott, Aunts; Dominique (BFF) Buonome, Cheyenne Leigh, Deborah Cappabianca, Felicia Scott, and Tasha Jacobs, Uncles; Greg Leigh and Jason Jacobs, as well as a host of friends and family. He is predeceased by his maternal great-grandmother (Nonny) Cappabianca, paternal grandmother Elizabeth (Ma) Jacobs and his brother Jeremiah Scott. Jericho was a junior at Wilbur cross high school, who was loved by his community, teachers and friends. Jericho excelled in sports since age 5. He was a kind, compassionate, outgoing jokester with an infectious smile and he truly made this world a better place. He has touched many lives young and old well beyond the Fair Haven area and his spirit will live in our hearts forever. His legacy shines through the hearts of those he touched; he was a true friend to so many people. Words cannot express our pain and sadness. Although Jericho is gone he will never be forgotten as his laughter and joy will continue to bring smiles to our faces. Jericho loved life and people, and people loved Jericho. He will always be the missing piece to our puzzle. We will miss him for eternity. Until we meet again baby boy, forever in our hearts. May you rest peacefully, soaring infinitely amongst God’s Angels. Friends may call Friday April 24, 2015 at Ebenezer Chapel; 50 Dwight St. New Haven, CT 06511, from 4 – 8 PM. A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10 AM at the church. Repast will be held at Wilbur Cross High School immediately following service. Interment is private.
