Jimmie Reynolds, 71

Jimmie C. Reynolds, 71, of New Haven, passed away on Friday December 30, 2011.
Born to the late Carl & Ruby Turner Pullen in Roanoke, VA on February 2, 1940. Jimmie was a licensed evangelist in the Church of God In Christ and the first black female parole officer in the state of Connecticut. She leaves to cherish her memory; her beloved husband, Serge Reynolds I; sons, Rev. Richard M. Reynolds (Patricia) of New Haven, CT and Rev. Edward Page Reynolds (Diane) of Forrest City, AR; daughter, Jule Waters (Darryl) of Hamden, CT; brothers, Rev. Augustus Pullen (Michele) of Hamden, CT; sisters, Jessie Kennedy and Martha Everson (Roger) all of Hamden, CT and Rubye “Jackie” Daniels (Dennis) of New Haven, CT; sister in law Linda Pullen; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by son Serge Reynolds II and brother Carl Pullen Jr. A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 7PM The New Trinity Temple COGIC, 285 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511. Calling hours at the church on Friday from 5-7PM. Interment will be on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11AM at Evergreen Cemetery. Service by Howard K.
