Joseph Leon Darden, of New Haven, went home to be with the lord on May 14, 2017.
Leon was born May 17, 1953, in Wilson County, N.C. to the late Charlie and Annie Mae Darden.
He leaves to cherish his memories, devoted wife, Donna Caesar-Darden; daughters, S. Renee Darden, Fla. and Doni Caesar of Waterbury; sons, Thomas Lee Bynum, Tenn., Antonio Taylor, N.C., Leon Caesar of New Haven; 9 grandchildren; special grandsons, Tyrek and Marquel Caesar; a sister; four brothers; several sister and brother-in-law’s; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a son; two sisters; and two brothers.

A celebration of his life will take place Saturday at 9 a.m. at Promise Land Church of God, 240 Burwell Rd, West Haven, CT 06516.
