Jynillia Jackson, 31

Jynillia LaChelle Jackson was born on April 21, 1981 in Bridgeport, CT to Francine Michelle (Jackson) Howze and Roberto E. Stewart.

Jynillia attended and graduated from West Haven High School. She later attended Johnson and Wales University, Rhode Island where she majored in Fashion Design. She went on to complete her education at Wood Tobe Coburn in Manhattan, New York where she mastered her passion for Fashion. Jynillia was diagnosed with breast cancer in August, 2009. Jynillia was a creative genius as well as a modest and meticulous designer; she never boasted of her work, she quietly created works of art, everything from fashionable formal wear to detailed costume jewelry. Jynillia leaves to cherish her memory to her mother, Francine Michelle Howze, and Step-father, Clayton B. Howze; her maternal grandparents, Freddie and Frances Jackson; father, Roberto E. Stewart and Step-mother, Erica Newell as well as three siblings born unto her father; Roberto J. Stewart, Sean Stewart, and Nile Stewart. She will be missed by her paternal grandmother, Mildred Lowe-Stewart; her paternal aunt Margarita Lowe-Stewart; maternal aunt, Veronica E. Sebourne; uncle, Jorge Sebourne and her cousin, Jovon Sebourne, and Jovon’s daughter and Jynillia’s cousin, Ariana S. Sebourne; and her Godson, Kaheim Robertson. Jynillia has a large number of paternal relatives who reside in Florida and Costa Rica where she had hoped to visit. She leaves behind several relatives who reside in South Carolina; they all will miss her immensely. While we would like to make honorable mention of all of Jynillia’s friends and colleagues, please know that she loved you all and as she has touched your lives; you have touched hers in return. A celebration of her life will take place, Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Messiah Baptist Church; 210 Congress Street, Bridgeport, CT 06604 with calling hours at the church from 9 – 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven, CT. Services by Howard K.
